THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Understand the work. Engineer the right system.

01 / SOLUTIONS

Built for the way
your business works.

Start with the problem.
Choose the technology with purpose.

A process outgrown by spreadsheets. Knowledge scattered across documents. Applications that don’t talk to each other. We design the software that brings those pieces together.

01

Custom software
development

When off-the-shelf tools don’t fit, build around the actual workflow. We develop purpose-built applications with clear requirements, usable interfaces and a maintainable foundation.

For work like Internal operations tools, customer portals and purpose-built business applications.

DELIVERABLES

Application design · Tested source code · Documentation · Ongoing development

02

Artificial intelligence
& AI agents

Give AI a defined job, relevant context and clear boundaries. We build assistants and AI-powered workflows with evaluation criteria, human review and deliberate controls on what they can do.

For work like Internal knowledge assistants, support guidance and focused task automation.

DELIVERABLES

Agent workflows · Model integrations · Evaluation cases · Permission boundaries

03

Web applications
& development

Turn a service, idea or business process into a clear web experience. We develop responsive websites and applications, from a focused company presence to data-driven tools and platforms.

For work like Business websites, interactive dashboards, community platforms and service portals.

DELIVERABLES

Interface design · Responsive implementation · Accessible interactions · Content structure

04

Business process
automation

Reduce repeated entry and make handoffs easier to follow. We connect steps across applications, including Microsoft 365 workflows, with approvals, exception handling and a clear path for human intervention.

For work like Document routing, structured intake, notifications and recurring reporting.

DELIVERABLES

Workflow mapping · Application automations · Approval logic · Recovery guidance

05

Data systems
& integrations

Make information usable across the tools you already depend on. We design API integrations and data processes that validate inputs, reconcile differences and preserve the context behind the numbers.

For work like Application connections, historical data migration and consistent operational reporting.

DELIVERABLES

API connections · Data models · Migration tooling · Validation checks

06

Intelligent applications
& document AI

Help people find and use the information inside their documents. We combine search, structured extraction and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with source references and reviewable outputs.

For work like Policy search, document classification and knowledge tools built around approved content.

DELIVERABLES

Document pipelines · Retrieval interfaces · Source traceability · Quality evaluation

02 / PRODUCTS & PLATFORMS

Engineering you
can explore.

Operational products and development work.
Clearly separated. Open about the limits.

Production website

League history.
Connected and usable.

UFSL brings seasons, member statistics, historical results and editorial content into one web platform. The engineering work centers on preserving source history, validating data and controlling publication.

What this demonstrates

Historical data reconciliation, shared statistics logic and validation before publishing. The public case study contains a bounded source extract and fictional tests; the full production system remains private.

Working development baseline

Useful answers begin
with grounded knowledge.

A.T.L.A.S. explores a local documentation assistant using Open WebUI, Ollama and an Obsidian knowledge base. Recorded chat and retrieval checks inform the work; broader security and offline acceptance remain unfinished.

What this demonstrates

A documented integration and evaluation approach, plus a runnable synthetic evidence evaluator. The public example does not run the live assistant. Administrative automation is planned, and this is not a commercially released product.

Planned system · Development work

Ayotte AI Service Desk

An AI-assisted support initiative exploring approved knowledge, ticket context and human review. The Microsoft edition is in development; a self-hosted edition is planned. Production integration and acceptance remain incomplete.

Development scope

Work includes workflow design, isolated examples and testing/security documentation. Proposed ticketing and automation integrations are not presented as live. No public product or service-desk backend is offered here.

Early software prototype

PrintPulse3D

A software initiative for making print-job information easier to organize. An isolated prototype summarizes fictional jobs; live printer connections, durable storage and operational reporting are planned.

Development scope

The prototype is an in-memory software example, not a live printer-management platform. Physical printing and fabrication services belong to Ayotte Technologies.

03 / OUR APPROACH

A clear path
from need to release.

Good software needs more than a working demo. We define what success means, make changes in isolation and keep acceptance separate from deployment.

Talk through your project
  1. Understand the work

Clarify the users, existing process, constraints and desired outcomes. Agree on requirements and how the result will be evaluated.

  2. Design the system

Map the experience, application architecture, data flows and integration boundaries. Choose technology that fits the problem and its maintenance needs.

  3. Build in isolation

Develop in a separate environment with reviewable changes. Keep active production systems protected while the implementation takes shape.

  4. Test, review and accept

Exercise functionality, accessibility and failure paths. Review security and data handling, record limitations and obtain acceptance against the agreed scope.

  5. Hand off an approved release

Ayotte Industries supplies the accepted software and release guidance. Ayotte Technologies provisions the infrastructure and deploys the approved release.

    APPLICATION ENGINEERING → INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS
  6. Maintain and improve

Maintain application code, address defects and plan the next iteration. Keep software development and infrastructure operations coordinated, with clear ownership.

04 / ABOUT AYOTTE INDUSTRIES

Independent thinking.
Connected systems.

Useful technology starts with understanding the problem.

Ayotte Industries is a software and artificial intelligence engineering business. We design, develop, integrate, test and maintain applications that connect people, information and the work they need to accomplish.

Our direction is practical: focused AI, well-structured software and automation that remains understandable to the people using it. New ideas are evaluated through working implementations, documented decisions and honest limits.
